How is JACVault different from CV templates and other application generators?
Templates give you a layout and many generators give you text from a few inputs; JACVault aligns your real data to one specific role. It reads the job ad word for word, picks up the company’s values and culture from the employer’s own job page, and gives a reason for every change. Your interview preparation is built from the same application.
Can recruiters tell that my application was written with AI?
Recruiters can’t reliably detect AI-written text, but they do spot applications that could have come from anyone: no evidence, no link to the role, the same sentence rhythm as every other one. JACVault writes from your real roles and numbers, and after your first application, two minutes of questions teach it your tone.
What if I don’t meet every requirement in the job ad?
JACVault never credits you with anything that isn’t in your profile, and it tells you plainly how well you fit. A second, independent AI model gives two fit scores with its reasoning: how well your profile matched before, and how well the finished application matches now. If the role isn’t a fit, it says so.
Will my CV get through applicant tracking systems (ATS)?
Nobody can guarantee that, but JACVault builds every CV so applicant tracking systems can read it cleanly, and checks this with its own measurements. Our templates run through three commercial parsing engines of the kind used in ATS on the German market. On top of that come the terms the role asks for, as far as your profile backs them up.
Do I still need a cover letter (Anschreiben) in Germany?
Usually, yes: many job ads in Germany, Austria and Switzerland still ask for one, even though some employers have dropped it. JACVault writes one with every application, one page long and built from the same analysis as your CV. Whether you send it depends on the ad. For freelance projects, JACVault writes a cover letter tailored to the project.
Can JACVault write my application in German if my CV is in English?
Yes: JACVault writes your application in the language of the job ad, even when your profile is in the other one. The text is written directly in German, not translated, and your facts stay exactly as they are. One honest caveat: a German application tells the employer you can hold the interview in German too.
About ten minutes per role once your profile is set up. You create the profile once by importing your CV as a PDF or Word file, or your LinkedIn profile, and checking it. After that, you just paste in the job ad.
Can I edit my application myself before I send it?
Yes, every word: you edit your CV and cover letter directly in the finished document. The changes apply to this application only, and your profile stays untouched. If you get lost, one click resets the document to the generated version without using up another application.
Does the free application turn into a paid subscription?
No: you start the free application without a credit card, so it can’t roll over into a paid plan. A plan only starts when you switch to one yourself in the app, and it can be cancelled monthly with no minimum term.
Can I delete my data from JACVault?
Yes, you can delete any application or profile entry directly in the app. To delete your whole account, send us a short message through the contact form: we delete it with all your data and confirm it to you.
