Interview Preparation

The interview prep that knows both sides of the table

Questions about a job posting and a CV — any chatbot can give you those. But a prompt throws everything into one pot: it asks with everything you know, not with what a recruiter actually has in front of them. JACVault keeps the two sides cleanly apart: every question is built only from the submitted material — CV, cover letter, job posting, public company profile — and carries a source quote. Your full profile, your evaluation and your salary target stay on your side: as coaching — and as strengths you bring up deliberately, because the recruiter doesn’t know them yet.

  • Every question with a source from your material
  • “Your advantage” — what the recruiter can’t see
  • Created automatically with every application

Two spaces of knowledge

Two spaces of knowledge, kept cleanly apart

A real interview is always asymmetric: the two sides know different things about each other. JACVault rebuilds exactly this asymmetry — with two separate spaces that are never mixed. One feeds the questions, the other feeds your answers. And because JACVault built your application itself, that context is already there — on both sides.

Feeds the questions
What the recruiter sees

Only the submitted material — a recruiter has nothing more. Every question in the dossier is derived solely from it and carries a source with a quote.

  • Optimized CV
  • Cover letter
  • Job posting
  • Public company profile
Feeds your answers
What only you know

Your full context, which the recruiter doesn’t have. From it come coaching hints, your salary strategy and “your advantage” — strengths that aren’t in the material.

  • Your full profile
  • Evaluation & fit score
  • Your salary target
  • “Your advantage” — hidden strengths
The dossier is created automatically as soon as your application is finished — right in the cockpit, without you triggering anything. No insider knowledge about the company, no guessed questions: only what follows, with evidence, from your material and public info.
Anatomy of a question

Every question with evidence

At JACVault a question is never just a sentence. You get it broken down: the question itself, the recruiter’s thinking behind it, the evidence with a source quote, a coaching hint for your answer — and the classification of how hard it is and in which round it’s likely to come up.

  • The question
Worded the way the interviewer would actually ask it — in the tone of the conversation, not as a keyword.
  • Why it comes up
The recruiter’s line of thought: which gap, contradiction or requirement leads them to this question.
  • The evidence
A source quote from the material the recruiter has — CV, cover letter, job posting or company profile. No question without a basis.
  • The coaching
How to answer without walking into the trap: what to emphasize, what to draw a clear line around, where to stay honest.
  • Difficulty
Easy, medium or hard — so you know where thorough preparation pays off most.
  • Likely round
Phone interview, HR interview or technical interview — the question is mapped to the round where it’s most likely to come up.

Every application gets the solid base preparation. Premium adds more questions, all categories and the full coaching.

In every application
Solid foundation
  • 8–10 questions with evidence and coaching
  • Three categories: gap, follow-up and classic questions
  • Self-introduction as a 2–3-minute script
  • Your own questions for the mandatory phase
Premium
Full depth
  • 15–20 questions across all five categories
  • Plus motivation & company and cover-letter check
  • Salary coaching with range, timing and DACH conventions
  • Expected process and “your advantage” per question

Both levels follow DACH conventions. Formal or informal address: that follows the company’s culture, not a rule of thumb.

Verifiable

Better questions, better answers

Other tools prompt a language model with the posting and a CV — everything in one pot, nothing grounded. JACVault built your application itself and knows both sides first-hand: the submitted material the questions come from, and your full profile your answers draw on.

Every question with a source

No question stands there without a basis. Each carries a source quote from the material the recruiter actually has — CV, cover letter, job posting or company profile.

Two spaces, never mixed

The questions rest solely on what you submitted — just like in the real conversation. That’s why they hit realistic points: gaps, contradictions, requirements — not everything that exists about you somewhere.

The answers are prepared too

Coaching per question, your salary strategy and “your advantage” — strengths from your full profile that aren’t in the material. Knowledge a one-pot prompt can’t have.

DACH conventions as the foundation

Self-introduction, your own questions as a mandatory phase, salary by DE/AT/CH and the form of address by company culture — prepared by the rules that apply in a German-speaking interview.

FAQ

Before you go in

Where do the questions come from?

Solely from the material a recruiter actually has in front of them when reviewing your application: your optimized CV, your cover letter, the job posting and publicly available company info. Every question carries a source quote from exactly this basis — nothing is invented.

Are these guaranteed to be the real interview questions?

No, and we deliberately don’t promise that. No one can predict real interview questions. JACVault prepares you for the topics most likely to come up from your material and the posting — with evidence for why. That’s thorough preparation, not fortune-telling.

What is “your advantage”?

These are strengths from your full profile that don’t appear in the submitted material — so the recruiter doesn’t know them. In the premium depth, JACVault flags them per question, so you can bring them in deliberately where they count most.

When is the dossier created?

Automatically, as soon as your application is finished. You’ll find it right in the cockpit on the relevant application — without triggering anything.

The full journey: how JACVault works

What’s in the cheatsheet, what’s in the dossier?

The dossier is the full write-up: all questions by category with evidence and coaching, self-introduction, your questions, salary coaching and process. The cheatsheet “at a glance” condenses the essentials onto one page — for the last minutes before the conversation.

How does JACVault know how to handle the salary topic?

From the salary target you’ve set. From it comes a concrete strategy: recommended range, timing and the regional conventions for DE, AT or CH. Salary coaching is part of the premium depth.

Formal or informal address?

That follows the company’s culture, not a fixed rule. For German-language interviews, JACVault matches the form of address — formal or informal — to what fits the specific company.

Can I also practice the conversation, not just read up on it?

Yes — that’s what the interview simulation is for: a written mock interview in chat against someone who only knows your submitted material, followed by a feedback report.
